Day 17-18 - Marin, Sonoma and Napa

The next day, we headed to San Francisco and crossed the Golden Gate Bridge enshrouded in fog

We had brunch at Dipsea with Mel's childhood friend Marty and his wife Pamela

Muir Woods

That night we camped at China Camp, a campground north of SF and  a lovely secluded walk in spot with mountain lions lurking.
Margaret in her PJs
The next day there were deer right by our tent.
and rattlesnake warnings at Sonoma Vineyards. This was Buena Vista
And this was someone impersonating Agostin Haraszthy

Grapes at Bartholomew Vineyards
We had a picnic at Kunde Vineyards
We drove through Napa Valley as well but the 3 wine tasting in Sonoma were as much as we could handle. We bought sausages and cooked them over an open fire.
The next morning more deer invaded our campsite

We exited the 17 mile Drive to see Monterey and Pacific Grove

Back on the 17 Mile Drive, we came to a beach with lots of cormorants

This island off the coast was loaded with  seals and cormarants

We just bought this place on the shore. Who is coming to visit??
