| We spent the night in Minot, North Dakota. Lots of wheat fields |

| After Minot, ND, we drove for many hours in a torrential downpour and ended up in Minneapolis. This was our splurge night. We ate in a fabulous restaurant-the Bachelor Farmer. Here was one of the many delicious dishes we ate-roasted fatback, buttered squash, apples, almonds, cider vinegar. |
