| Kate has become a wonderful encaustic artist. She took us to the gallery in Old Town where she exhibits her work and then we went to her house where she showed us more of her work. Here is the piece we bought that was made from a photograph that our friend Lynne took in Romania. It's a beautiful piece and will remind us of our two friends and of our time in Romania |

| Kate showed Rosemarie, Margaret and I how to do encaustic art. It was a lot of fun but much more difficult than it appeared at first. |
